As an addition to my hobby as a photographer, I also write novels and short stories.
Since 1995, I've been fascinated by putting pen to paper (or more recently, fingers to keyboard). Creating worlds and the characters to inhabit them, I am always eager to discover what they will do, often surprising myself with their development.
With the rise of self publishing I found an outlet that allowed me to go beyond simply writing and creating. By self publishing I've also been given a chance to share my creations with the world.
Published Works
The Last of a Kind series
Abducted by aliens and forced to fight in a vicious game against creatures drawn from their darkest nightmares, what chance do a handful of teenagers have to survive long enough to make it back home?
My first book published, there are currently two novels in the series and two more in progress. Completion date for the two unfinished novels is unknown but some time in the future. (At my pace of writing, that may be some time in the far future.)
The Evestar Wars series
Orphaned and adopted at a young age, Jon doesn't have the smoothest of childhoods. Despite having a family that loves him, when war breaks out he volunteers to do his part. In the fierce air war that follows, he soon finds out that not everyone can go home.
My latest novel, it is also my longest. The first of a three part main arc, the sequels are still a work in progress though well advanced. There are two more stories in the planning stage that will take place in the same time frame as the first novel.
The Watch
William is an Ancient, one of the people entrusted to protect the Path, the power that holds the world together. They are aided in this by the Elementals of nature, working together to keep the Path safe from those that wish to tear the world apart. William has taken a role in the wider world as a guide through the mountains he calls home, safe guarding caravans through the passes.
The Watch is my first novel picked up by an indie publisher. It is with my great pleasure, (and no little gratitude), that The 3 Little Sisters Publishing has brought this story to print.
The Watch is the first novel in a series of works in progress.
Other Works
While there are two main series I work on, I also have several other pieces published. A book of collected short stories and poetry spanning from 1995 to 2010 and several short novellas complete my published works, though doubtlessly there will be more to come in the future.
